This deeply personal body of work reflects on the men, both real and imagined, whose absence has shaped the artist’s identity, desires, and creative path. From unspoken family histories to cultural icons and ingrained societal archetypes of masculinity, Men I Never Met is both a confession and a manifesto by The Dreamer, as he attempts to give form to the silhouettes that have influenced his life.

Returning to canvas for the first time in more than a decade, The Dreamer expands his visual language with new printing techniques and experimentations on paper. His signature vibrant splashes of colour now intertwine with layered collages, with screen printing remaining the core of his practice. Pop, romantic yet eccentric, the new works are reflecting The Dreamer’s personal journey as he enters a new era of artistic expression.

Hosted at The Dreamer Studio, his working and exhibition space in the neighbourhood of Petralona, Athens, the exhibition invites visitors in the intimate environment where the works were conceived and created. The studio’s raw atmosphere is an integral part of the storytelling, welcoming viewers into the emotional architecture behind the exhibition.

Alongside the new works on canvas, The Dreamer will introduce a series of limited-edition merchandise inspired by the artworks, allowing visitors to carry fragments of the exhibition into their everyday lives.
